Meet eco-designer Robin Wilson at Carlisle Wide Plank Floors opening

Join us at the complimentary event above and meet Robin Wilson, whose interior design projects include the private residence of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Harlem office of President Bill Clinton. Wilson focuses on wellness in the home environment from the “foundation to the furniture.” The first 200 guests at the grand opening of the Carlisle Wide Plank Flooring showroom will receive a complimentary copy of Kennedy Green House.

Similar to notable designers throughout history, Wilson employs creativity to solve each problem. She recognizes that indoor air quality may be tied to increased incidents of allergies and asthma. The New York-based designer became an early advocate for clean construction methods and insists that construction teams uses non-toxic and sustainable measures in both residential and commercial spaces so clients do not experience wheezing and sneezing.

Kennedy Green House (Greenleaf, 2010) is a chronicle of the eco-healthy remodeling and redesign of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Westchester  home – providing information on options for consumers who want to incorporate similar environmentally responsible and health-conscious changes.

Robin Wilson is the first woman to license her name to eco-friendly kitchen cabinetry, which is manufactured in the USA by Holiday Kitchens and sold at 500 dealers nationwide.

Wilson launched her textiles collection at the 2011 Home Fashions Market Week in Manhattan.  The collection features both fashion bedding and hypoallergenic basic bedding including: pillows, mattress covers, comforters and sheets.

Robin Wilson takes her place in the pantheon of Talented and Marketable Designers, alongside greats such as Christopher Dresser and Louis Comfort Tiffany. She brings healthy eco-friendly design to everyone…and you have the opportunity to meet her!
